I want you to be comfortable in your own skin. That means YOU have chosen outfits that you like and reflect who you are as a person.

With that said, I am more than happy to offer suggestions depending on location and season if you want. There are certain colors and patterns that photograph better than others so I will be happy to give an opinion if it is wanted. I will never tell you not to wear something that you love!

We will work together to determine what locations will work best. If you have a preference on specific locations, please let me know so we can use those spaces! A short questionnaire will be filled out during the booking process so I can get an idea of your preference in style. We will go from there to find the best fit for your photos!

Do not stress about posing, that’s what I am here for. I will be there to guide you throughout your session to keep your movements natural and your smiles genuine. 

If there are specific poses you want, please don’t be afraid to share those with me! These are YOUR photos!

We all know how Minnesota weather can be…so unpredictable! Because of this, I build in some flexibility to my calendar to allow for make up sessions. No reschedule fees will be charged due to unforeseen weather. 

• Have your entire outfits planned to allow for quick changes AND so you know you are comfortable in your choices.

• If you are using any accessories or props, have them organized and ready. Think of things you may need to display them (i.e. hangers for jerseys)

• Hair, nails, make-up…plan all the fun things you may want done for your photos!

• Drink plenty of water and eat a good meal prior…no one wants to be hangry! :)

• Reach out with any questions you may have! I am an open book.
