HEY THERE, I’M BRITTANY

A mom of 2 boys with another babe on the way, chaos coordinator, farm wife and gopher, and the lady behind the lens…you name it, I’m the lady for the job!

When I’m not behind the camera capturing your memories, you will find me making my own memories with my sweet family. I will likely be chasing after my 2 boys, cooking something up in the kitchen, catching up on bookwork, or chasing around the countryside helping my farmer out. If things weren’t busy enough, we are so excited to be welcoming our third baby to this crazy world in April… hello planting season! If you know me then you know that my family is my true pride and joy.

Motherhood is such a journey. There are moments of overwhelm with life and all that comes with it but there is also an overwhelming amount of love and joy. These are truly moments I NEVER want to forget regardless of how tough some days can be. I know they are the best days of my life and I am forever grateful for that. With that said…

  • I have always loved taking picture and having memories captured for my own family. One of my best friends has a photography business and I knew she needed consistent help with weddings. I offered to be her second shooter if she would teach me a few things along the way. She agreed and so I bought my camera, started taking countless online courses to learn on my own as well, and dove in head first. I have not looked back since. I owe all of this to her and I am so so grateful.

  • My main focus is on high school seniors and lifestyle type photos including motherhood+newborn, couples, and families. I spend a lot of summer weekends second shooting weddings but do not typically shoot weddings myself.

    If you have a specific project in mind but aren’t sure if I would photograph it, please send an inquiry anyways! I would be happy to chat with you!

  • I am based out of south central Minnesota. I do have a radius I will travel so if you are interested in my services, please reach out!

  • True to life, organic, timeless.

    My goal is to keep your photos looking natural, but a little bit elevated. I want to keep color tones as realistic as possible while still giving you that professional quality.

…a few fun facts…

  • COFFEE. always…no questions asked. || WATER….plain old water…no ice please. || MILK…have always loved milk and will always love it.

  • Breakfast—no questions asked. My day is always so much better when I have a solid breakfast to start the day. Some go-tos? Avocado sourdough toast w/ a couple runny eggs. Cottage cheeese scrambled eggs with some veggies. Sautéed kale with it all.

  • When people complain about something constantly but take NO ACTION EVER to make any changes. YOU ARE IN CHARGE OF YOUR LIFE. Make the changes to become the best version of you!

  • I would have to say Hawaii. My husband and I were supposed to go for our honeymoon but COVID kind of ruined those plans for us. Would love to have the chance to take that trip someday. BUT major flight anxiety so not sure how that would go!

  • True crime podcasts….all the time. THANKS SARAH! While I am working, cleaning, cooking, driving…always on. Of course not when little ears are around though.

  • I graduated from the U of M with a degree in Special Education! I taught for 4 years and loved it but then I became a mom and everything changed for me. I’m not sure if I am out of the classroom forever, but right now I am exactly where I am needed. Also…leaving the classroom led me to be here capturing your memories. I am so thankful for it all!
